Using paper as the sole medium, this assignment seeks to achieve a facade that offers both aesthetical and functional qualities. The simple repetitive twisting of strands introduces patterning that is not only beautiful but also provides opportunities for solar shading and views inward and outward. The formal interest of the project is part of an ongoing interest in the de-lamination into re-lamination of a surface. This study investigates four different iterations and how they affect lighting.
